After graduating from Auburn University with a BS in Finance in 1986, Bert spent the first four years of his career as a financial analyst for a large corporation in Miami. In 1990 he accepted a position with a financial planning firm in Heidelberg, Germany, and developed a strong understanding and expertise in tax and financial planning services for US military personnel.
In 2000 he moved to Brevard County and fine-tuned his financial planning acumen toward assisting K-12 educators and support staff, as well as higher education employees within the Florida Retirement System. He is a specialist in FRS issues and DROP, and tax deferred investing and comprehensive financial planning services. Bert is a specialist in the areas of tax preparation and Medicare planning.
When not working with clients, you can usually find Bert somewhere on the waters of Brevard County, indulging his passion for all things aquatic.
